Radiation and doughnuts

I know, those two items don't seem to go together. But tomorrow, Wednesday, is my final radiation treatment and I'm bringing a box of Krispy Kremes for the radiation techs from whom I've had my treatments these past six weeks.

I am attaching to this post several images which basically are charts of my blood counts -- white blood, red blood, neutraphils, hemoglobin and platelets -- these past several weeks. I hope they make sense, but those who asked to see my numbers will understand.

Glad to hear you'll get a little bit of time off from these treatments. They sound exhausting.

Thanks for keeping us up to date with your treatments and progress.

Looking forward to seeing you back in the newsroom. We need you!

Thanks you guys. I really miss work. A lot. Never thought I would say that as often as I have of late.

The docs are giving me a few weeks to recover from this and to ensure that my blood numbers return. I am confident they will, especially in time for the surgery. They want me to be pretty healthy going into the surgery, because it's pretty intense stuff on its own.
